Professional Development as a Co-op

Acturis believes that professional development is key to the co-op program. In this position, you will follow a clearly defined co-op path that recognises personal development and contribution to the company. Acturis will support your development as a co-op with the following:

  • You will receive structured targets, regular feedback and performance reviews.

  • Your team will deliver concentrated initial training and close mentoring, with daily. support and weekly one to ones. Senior colleagues will also run training sessions to pass on industry experience and best professional practices.

  • You and your mentor will regularly review your co-op course requirements and how these should be fulfilled.

  • The company will provide opportunities to participate in company social events.

The Position

As a People Operations Admin Assistant you will be part of a world-class international team from a wide variety of backgrounds. Your primary goal in this role will be to ensure that our open competitions are moving in an efficient and timely manner.

As a member of the People Operations team, you can expect to:

  • Assist in full cycle recruitment process including:  

    • testing administration

    • scheduling first round interviews and coordinating hiring team calendars

    • launching video screening for entry level roles

    • reporting on KPIs and candidate movement weekly

    • responding to general candidate email inquiries

    • posting new open roles on careers site and cross-posting to other sites and company website

    • supporting the onboarding of new employees by reviewing documents and preparing onboarding packages

  • On occasion, assist in other People Operations activities including:

    • triaging employee requests and inquiries

    • administratively supporting People Projects and initiatives

The co-op wage for this position is between $19.00 and $20.00 per hour plus 4% in lieu of vacation.

 

This co-op term will start anytime between September 1 and September 15, 2026, and end anytime between January 8 and January 15, 2027.

The successful candidates will have following attributes:

  • Passionate about people and building connections

  • Eager to learn and comfortable picking up new technologies

  • Proactive with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Enthusiastic about providing an amazing candidate experience

  • Comfortable communicating cross-culturally including with newcomers and English Language Learners

The following attributes are highly appreciated but not required:

  • Fluent or Proficient in French

  • Experience providing customer service
