THE POSITION
The organisation has exciting growth plans and has delivered 20% growth year on year, with plans to expand further across, UK, Europe and North America. Reporting into the Head of People, the role will be responsible for providing a comprehensive generalist People Operations and advisory support service to a client group of c600 employees in the UK and some international HR Support (c400 across Europe and North America). Key duties and responsibilities will include;
Reporting into the Head of People, working as part of a UK team of 4 responsible for providing HR support to c600 UK employees, being the point of contact for all day-to-day operational HR areas.
Support and advise on HR policies, procedures and HR best practice, ensuring HR matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with UK Employment law and Company requirements

Provide support to managers on performance, including manage and administer probationary periods and annual appraisals
Provide support with starters and leavers - lead and deliver inductions, manage an effective on boarding process, oversee the leaver process and conduct exit meetings
Support managers with all areas of Employee Relations, attendance issues, disciplinary and grievances, including coaching and advising managers, and managing cases from start to finish.
Maintenance of HR procedures, HR templates and KPIs, maintenance of HR database, records, and systems
Ensure HR systems and records are kept accurate and up to date, meeting audit and compliance requirements
Support the successful completion of audits and maintain SOC2 certification by ensuring processes align with regulatory and organisational standards
Take ownership of HR data, ensuring it is complete, accurate and secure
Prepare and deliver HR reports, statistical analysis, and insights – monthly, termly, and as required – providing reliable and timely information
Support HR projects by providing accurate data and contributing to analysis and recommendations
Mentor the People Ops Assistant and provide development opportunities
Support the global People Ops team with various ad hoc projects
Job requirements
CANDIDATE PROFILE
For this role, we’re seeking candidates who are focused on delivering results and making a tangible impact. A strong understanding of data, coupled with excellent analytical skills, is essential – advanced excel proficiency and an interest in developing technical skills are also key to success in this position.
We are looking for someone with proven experience at this level, ideally hold CIPD Level 5, and with a background supporting client groups of a similar size. Candidates from all industries will be considered, although candidates from Tech, Fintech, Services, Insurance or Financial Services would be desirable, although not essential.
Ideally candidates will hold experience supporting both UK and International employees. Proven generalist HR experience is essential, with the ability to coach, advise and support managers with all ER and HR advisory matters, including providing an effective business partnering HR service to the client group.
Excellent communication, organisational skills, and the ability to work in an agile and fast paced environment is also essential.
