As an Insurer Account Manager at Acturis, you’ll be the first line of support for our clients nationwide and be responsible for them in a variety of ways (face to face, phone, webchat, client portal, email, events). You will act as a key point of contact, ensuring that our clients make the most out of our system whilst efficiently handling any potential issues that arise.
Your responsibilities will include:
Taking responsibility for an allocation of Insurer’s and MGA’s who own Products on the Acturis Platform
Having regular engagement with customers including a mixture of face to face and virtual meetings
Promoting awareness of new system functionality and demonstrating its benefits
Promoting the uptake of new or additional services and modules to existing customers
Setting joint goals with customers, agreeing an action plan, and following up on progress
Effectively dealing with customer escalations and credit control issues
Maintaining a high level of system knowledge and awareness of new and future developments
Attending industry events and representing Acturis in a professional and positive manner
Providing onsite support for new Acturis customers
Leading new and managing existing customer contracts
Hosting project scoping sessions and periodic steering meetings to understand clients’ ongoing requirements
Due to the nature of this position, there will be nationwide travel to client sites.

Job requirements
Candidate Profile
You will be a self-starter who takes initiative and leads from the front, who is ready go from day one. As part of a team full of brilliant and motivated people, you’ll share our passion for innovation and being a forward thinker.
We are looking for the following attributes:
2 years’ experience as an Account Manager or 2+ years of Client Management experience within the Insurance industry.
A 2:1 or above at Bachelor’s-level in an analytical degree subject is desirable but not essential.
First-rate problem-solving skills.
Logical, well organised, and practical.
Confident and eager to take on responsibility and the ability to learn new skills quickly.
The ability to work well as part of a team, seamlessly collaborating with others.
Computer literate (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel) and able to pick up new concepts
Customer-focused with an ability to build professional relationships.
Strong communication skills are essential.
Experience with the Acturis product (through a broker or with an insurance product) would be highly beneficial.
