The Position
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and hardworking graduate to join our Finance Team as an Accounts Assistant. You will learn a wide variety of accounting skills on-the-job, whilst studying towards a funded three year ACCA qualification to qualify as an Accountant. You will be given early responsibility and the initial role will involve an array of duties.
Some of the tasks you will do:
Sales Ledger: preparing invoices based on input data from other teams
Purchase ledger: posting invoices and preparing payment runs
Resolving customer and supplier invoice queries
Assisting with preparing the month end accounts
Assisting with annual processes such as budgets and year-end audit
Assisting with general office and administrative duties as necessary
You will be given early responsibility for discrete projects and will receive structured feedback, in the form of a performance review every four months.

Job requirements
Essential attributes:
You have graduated (or are graduating) with relevant Bachelor’s degree, having achieved at least 2:1 (or an equivalent)
You enjoy Maths and have achieved an A or higher at A-levels (or an equivalent)
You are prepared to commit to a three year ACCA study programme, balancing full time work and study
You are confident using technology, such as MS Office and Confluence, and are keen to learn
You have completed an internship relating to the role or have equivalent work experience.
