The Position

 

As an Account Manager at Acturis, you’ll be the first line of support for our clients nationwide, and be responsible for supporting them in a variety of ways (face to face, phone, virtual meetings, client portal, email, events). You will act as a key point of contact, ensuring that they make the most out of our system whilst efficiently handling any potential issues that arise.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing an allocation of customers in your area, including co-ordinating new and existing client contracts.

  • Promoting the uptake of new or additional services and modules within the Acturis system to help clients get the most out of our offering.

  • Setting joint goals with customers, agreeing an action plan, and regularly following up on progress.

  • Effectively dealing with user problems and identifying opportunities for improved use of the Acturis system.

  • Driving your own knowledge to become an Acturis Expert whilst having an awareness of existing, new and future developments.

  • Collaborate with other teams within the business including Customer Support, to support the deployment of new releases.

  • Hosting webinars and In-person events to deliver functionality tips and promote new features to all users.

  • Due to the nature of this position, there will be nationwide travel to client sites.

 

We are looking for someone who enjoys attending industry events and representing Acturis in a professional and positive manner in order to drive business.

  • Coach and provide constructive feedback for junior colleagues

  • Work closely with senior customer contacts to develop their relationship with Acturis

 

Acturis gives early responsibility for line management, including mentoring new joiners, designing and delivering training programmes, and coaching others to develop their skills and responsibilities.

Candidate Profile

 

You will be a self-starter who takes initiative and leads from the front, who is ready go from day one. As part of a team full of brilliant and motivated people, you’ll share our passion for innovation and being a forward thinker.

 

We are looking for the following attributes:

 

  • 2 years’ experience as an Account Manager or 2+ years of Client Management experience within the Insurance industry.

  • A 2:1 or above at Bachelor’s-level in an analytical degree subject is desirable but not essential.

  • First-rate problem-solving skills.

  • Logical, well organised, and practical.

  • Confident and eager to take on responsibility and the ability to learn new skills quickly.

  • The ability to work well as part of a team, seamlessly collaborating with others.

  • Computer literate (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel) and able to pick up new concepts

  • Customer-focused with an ability to build professional relationships.

  • Strong communication skills are essential.

  • Experience with the Acturis product (through a broker or with an insurance product) would be highly beneficial but not essential.

  • Ideally located in the South West or London/South East aread for regional roles available.
